The NJC "BUDDY" system is one of NJC's most important links in building our membership.

When a guest comes to our services for the first time and feels the warm, friendly, welcoming atmosphere created by our Buddies -- as well as from the rest of the congregation -- their membership is not far off.

Here's what being a Buddy requires...

• Arriving at services early, about 6:50 pm
• WAITING in the LOBBY till a guest is assigned to you...(it is difficult for the greeter to go looking for the Buddy)
• Sit with the guest during services
• Stay with them during the Oneg (This is really important because people tend to get "lost in the crowd")
• Introduce them to others
• Perhaps invite them to join you at the next function

I am calling out to you to volunteer your services as a Buddy. Please call with a time that is convenient to you to be a "Buddy", so she does not have to go searching for you.
