Temple Shalom is hosting the Yom Hashoah, Holocaust Remembrance Service this Sunday evening, April 11 at 6:00 pm. We would like to have a great representation from Temple Shalom attend this service.

Speakers include; Gerry Prezioso, President of Temple Shalom, Reverend Bill Hartman, Lady Lake Assembly of God, Pastor Zachariah Harris, Rock of Ages Lutheran Church, Sheldon Skurow, Spiritual Leader of Temple Shalom, Sandy Solomon, Social Action Committee Chair of Temple Shalom.

Musical presentations will be by Rose Eberle (vocal), Nancy Heyman (vocal) and Evy Feinberg (piano).

Special readings will be done by Eleanor Neff and Elaine Dubin.

We will be honored to have Holocaust survivors Georginia Vlcko and Tjalda Nauta present at this service.

Richard Shirley and Debra Moffitt, Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent of Sumter County School Board will present the awards to the Holocaust Essay winners; Sydney Mann, 8th grade winner and Tyler Vergason, high school winner.

This service is in remembrance of all who lost their lives in the Holocaust. We must never forget what happened and we must never allow the world to forget either. Please make every effort to attend this very important service.
